DC Routine

Ok, I have read about a hundered threads on the DC routine, I have even printed it out from some thread and I have it now commited to memorey and am venturing out starting Monday to begin but I want to clarify about cardio. As I have stated in a couple other posts I have some donuts from Krispy Kreme sitting around my waist and that is it. From the way DC looks I am not going to want to do anythong after this routine. So on the "off" days should I do light areobic exercise like jogging just for some movement for the day, or do I need that day for rest?

By the sounds of it you have a little extra bodyfat that you'd like to take care of so therefore cardio is going to be a necessity. Nothing too crazy to start off...just 30-45 minutes of moderate cardio (fast walking is good.....Personally I like the bike) first thing in the morning....Have a 25-30 gram protein shake (no carbs) mixed in water beforehand and then a good breakfast right afterwards.
Bodyfat levels and personal goals will dictate how frequently you're going to do cardio....I do 30 minutes every morning except for days that I train legs but I know that some of the guys (InHuman for example) do up to an hour a day. I'd say start with 3-4 sessions a week and monitor the changes in your bodyfat levels and make adjustments from there. Hope this was some help to you
