Oh the repeated bout effect is a thing. Just not like that. It’s been proven that 3 10 minute walks is more effective for fat loss and cardio protective benefits than 1 30 minute walk. The repeated bout effect has to do with a cumulative benefit. 1 plus 1 equals 3 king of thing. Like the principle of high frequncy low volume. You’re basically splitting your weekly volume between multiple sessions to be able to spike an anabolic response more than once a weekExactly. I do not buy into the repeated bout effect and not a fan of the overcomplicating of training ( a simple concept) that is going on today with all these studies (many on untrained people) and training systems being sold
Use good form
Get stronger
Recover
Don't get injured
Eat to support growth
Don't get fat
And if you want to put those in order, it’s diet first, intense training second, recovery after that.
