deca and dutasteride

I'm trying to find out some info about dutasteride while on a test and deca cycle finding some very conflicting info about the topic.

Some say taking duta with test and deca will amplify hair loss making it worse.

Others say taking 0.5 -1mg aday will be very effective at stopping hair loss while on cycle.

Any advise would be great, im also rrsearching tropical shampoos etc.

Well, maybe I'm not seeing something but Deca + Dutasteride seems like a recipe for disaster and won't stop hair loss from deca either way. Adding Dutasteride to Deca is a catch 22.

Unconverted Deca is more androgenic than its converted counterpart, DHN. So Deca+Dutasteride, bad for hair. Deca alone (no dutasteride) converts to DNH, bad for you penis and very slightly bad for hair...

But...Dutasteride also blocks DHT conversion. VERY bad for your penis. And while unconverted deca (by using Dutasteride) is slightly more androgenic, it's not androgenic enough to run your penis without DHT.

So, you've got 2 big strikes against your penis and zero points for hair by adding Dutasteride. Not a good cost:benefit ratio.

If anything, I'd use Minoxidil and keep 5ar inhibitors as far from my dick as possible.

Duta with deca did not increase hairloss for me and I highly suspect this whole thing to be idea to be broscience. What I was told as I was researching was
"It is far more likely that decreasing androgens with duta increases the effect of other hormones on hairloss. It is also possible that the metabolite of deca that causes hairloss is not caused by the 5AR enzyme, but some other enzyme (a P450 probably) that creates the metablite, and is not inhibited by duta."

TL;DR: Hairloss slowed when I added duta to my 140mg Prop and 420mg NPP cycle.
