Depression?

Any of you guys ever go through short periods of depression when on certain AAS? or how about when off???

Of course if one feels they have any underlying issue they should get it taken care of before they cycle, if they ever do.. How bad do you think cycling can be for ones emotions and such in the long run? Just looking to see what peoples thoughts or experiences are with depression. Or is it mind over matter? Thank you guys for reading..

It certainly can affect your mood but many factors affect mood. It has been years since my last cycle but I can remember when I first started I went through many mood swings to the point I thought I might be bi-polar.

This had allot to do with the fact that my diet and sleep wasn't where it should have been. Once I started eating better and getting more sleep things seemed to even out. I had to move my training schedule to the mornings which really made a big difference in how the rest of my day went.

So just make sure you are square with your diet, training and sleep habits. Things should mellow out for you.

I always feel better on cycle and actually have quit taking my anti depressants since i started using gear of the reason i was on them was i was feeling down after my car wreck that left me in a wheelchair but after seeing my body change and having a overall better felling i dont need them anymore

It can definetely sink in sometimes awhile after you get off cycle and have the lower hormone levels. Things return to normal later on though, and its just a phase.

i was depressed on and off but mostly on my whole life and the first time i did a cycle i felt NORMAL. now at least i can feel energetic and happy the 1/2 of the year that im on, im considering never going off this time. I don't like the idea of using for an anti-depressant but at least im living life

well my wife is postmenopausal and is depressed when not on cycle. We would like to find a doctor willing to prescribe test for her but for some reason, in our area, its forbidden taboo! Her menopause was brought on surgically and they have tested her and proven she is not producing hormones, and yet they wont prescribe, i dont get it.
anyway, to answer your question OP. she is depressed when not on and fine when on.. hormone replacement is vital to a balanced mental state imo.
