im glad someone posted the latest prep video he made for the 2012 arnold. i saw it yesterday on his facebook page.

not only is the strength amazing but its his athleticism at that weight. 44" box jumps, i have seen him doing sledgehammer work for conditioning as well.

This dude is a beast! Surprised he didnt finish in the top 3 this past WSM comp.

The overhead events seem to be some of his strongest ones, but I don't seen anyone passing Zavickas anytime soon.

On the other hand, Brian Shaw is doing pretty awesome.

I'm pretty sure he's a police officer in Connecticut. Are you thinking of Coleman?

Shaw won WSM this past year. There was a guy named Mike Jenkins that was dominating everyone through the first 4 events. Then he got hurt and had to pull out...

I believe Shaw is 6'7" and weighed in at 460 for WSM

Yeah, Jenkins was looking pretty awesome until he blew out his leg (quad?).

other than his strongman feats, im not too impressed with anything else

Had no clue who he was till going to Arnold Classic a few years ago. They had the 250lb db in the convention center that u could grab - handle was like grabbing a chain link fence post.

Anyway, that night at the finals in the db overhead standing press, some guys got none, most got 5-10, Poundstone got something like 20. It was one of the most impressive strength displays I've ever seen.

Normally the handle on a 10" DB is 2.5" thick, the big db's 12"+ are usually 3". That's fucking thick

Actually tren is a staple in just about any strongmans arsenal! Tren with some EQ is potent and keeps the cardio up!

How about this? Test, Suspension, Tren, EQ and Halo.... Yea that happens

Really I get muscle cramps and cant breathe on tren,, I see it more for aesthetics then performance,, I see prop or water suspension test and GH for performance (halo and other orals aswell) but TREN never thought for strong man how do you counter the sides brotha

He is a beast. It is amazing how so many strongmen have evolved into ultra-thick, ripped monsters, with the ability to move themselves quickly over distance. Their cardio is amazing compared to the strongman of 10-15yrs ago. The days of huge muscled monsters covered in layers of fat are gone.

Tren doesn't affect me like most... I don't shed fat on tren, but I don't get the bad sides either. I have gone as high as 700mg a week and was fine. BP was in range and everything was good

He is a cop in Waterbury, Connecticut. Just opened his own gym called Poundstone Performance Center. Looks pretty badass

I dabbled with EPO once... Not enough to tell a difference. But it could make a big difference. Moving a lot of weight multiple times is not easy cardio wise

I used it a couple times as an endurance athlete. Truly amazing stuff. I think it would be absolutely AMAZING for strongman type training.
The only thing remotely close to that I did while training on EPO was pulling a weighted sled.... and the effects it had on me were out of this world, blew anything steroids did out of the water as far as feeling the effects goes.

for a measly 2000 dollars.....now i felt that was just
