I regularly use Beveryly's Ultra 40s. You can chew or swallow them. They work well, but are expensive. Have thought about trying the unilever tabs, they're much cheaper.

My dog is part pit and lab so he has some decent genetics, but everyone marvels at his muscle development...I swear theres a correlation to the pure liver tabs I gave him as treats since he was a puppy..LOL!
For some reason every brand of liver tabs messes me up in the GI. Without going into details it just will not work.
Universal makes a beef aminos tab that had liver as well as beef aminos and it works for my system. This is the closest I can get to liver tabs. I usually add them to meals to boost protein levels if needed.
I use the liver tabs on a regular basis to help cover most of the essential and non essential amino acids becausue you do not get tham all from the protein powders that you drink or eat even from the food that you eat. Don't forget to cover all the diffrent proteins in your diet too like casin, whey and soy, etc. The tabs are cheap and can replace food or protein shake if you need protein and cant get access to food or a protein after the gym.. (my 2 cents)
I use the universal uniliver in between meals and I think it works pretty good, if anything between meals it keeps a constant flow of aminos throughout put the day
