Man, if only i had Dexter’s genetics. Look at that 48 year old man looking like a God among men. I like that he trains mostly light weight, high rep pump exercises. All you young guys, have fun and truly appreciate being able to lift heavy while you can. One day if you want to keep going and look 25 at age 50 you’ll have to relearn how to lift or you’ll fall apart. I train at 30% of the weight load i did at age 30, not by choice, but by necessity. I look better at age 50(in 7 weeks) then i did at age 30, much better actually. Consistency in diet and in the gym, a good amount of hormones, and a little luck(okay, a lot of luck since I’ve seen many friends die younger than I am who took a lot less roids). And let’s not forget the most important aspect of all, genetics. Great grandpa made it to 94. Grandma is now 94. Parents both almost 80.
I would say i peaked at age 43. That’s when i looked my best. I still had all of my strength and could lift without fearing injury. I was a lean 237-250Lbs. Now, I’m a lean 215Lbs and i lift with fear in each and every rep that something will rip off. Haha
. Enjoy your youth! Mad respect for Dexter!!!
