there's a whole new slew of DHT blocking shampoo on the shelves this year. This isn't a new concept by any means. To me it sounds promising, especially since I like cycling orals and getting compliments on my hair and body at the same time..but I have a slowly thinning and receding hairline. Luckily my hair is naturally thick so other people can't tell..but I can.
Finasteride is not an option for me. We have all heard horror stories about the drug and I'm sure theres people here who would die on both sides of the hill debating it. However I have chosen to simply stay far away from it. With that said I've researched the dht blocking shampoos and have come to realize that there's a lot of different brands that have different active ingredients that all advertise the same result. My question/questions to you is this. Which brands do yall stick with and what if any are the side effects of these shampoos and conditioners? Can they get into your system and cause similar side effects as finasteride? And is there a rebound effect to your hair if you suddenly stop using them? Thanks in advance!
