I've been having some intermittent vision problems on some mornings, a bit of trouble focusing after waking up. Not every day but often enough to bug me.
I had an MRI last Wednesday and they discovered a small tumor on the inside of my skull. It's pressing against the frontal lobe and has a tendril extending towards the optic nerves.
Good news is it's small, it's slow growing, and 85% of this type of tumor is benign, if it's benign a full and quick recovery is expected depending on whether or not I need radiation and or surgery.
Bad news is that if it is cancer it's already in the bone.......I'll just leave it at that since it isn't going to be cancer.

Neurology appointment on the 12th, Oncology on the 19th.

Prayers brother 🙏I hope everything comes out good!

Damn that fucking sucks

the only symptom was trouble focusing in the morning?

Prayers brother 🙏

Are Thoughts are with you !

Praying for you.
I have a friend at the gym that had a similar experience, save for his being inoperable due to its location. His was benign and has shown no growth, so he's thankful to be in a "just keep an eye on it" mode.
Hoping yours ends up being as manageable.

Best wishes it will be benign and you will be relieved I believe and hope. Is it on the pituitary?

I wish you a positive outcome. My wife has something similar , not cancer but slowly growing....she just moves on in life, none the worse. Its been 12 years since the diagnosis.

I could live with that! Hopefully that's the news on Thursday.

Hoping that its nothing! Keep us updated!

So sorry to hear of this. Really.

From your description, my brother had the exact same thing.

Was not cancer. :)

My only advise . . . get the best surgeon you can afford. This is a
delicate surgery. Think nerves.

He was operated on at UCSF. I think they went up through his nostril o_O
They got it all. Relatively painlessly recovery, eyesight now perfect.
He goes in now and again to get checked out. All good. No worries.

This will be a breeze for you.
