so i started a diet on monday kind of my own Anabolic Diet

Meals 1-3 are 8 oz. 0f 80/20 ground beef with a slice of pepperjack cheese and 2 whole hard boiled eggs

Meals 4-5 are protein shake with fish oil capsules

Meal 6 is 6 whole hard boiled eggs

then i use Saturday and Sunday as a 48 hour carb up to replace glycogen.

Heres my question are my saturated fats to high. I feel pretty good so far started on monday. Thank god for eggs they really help with hunger cravings.
 
You do not need a two day carb load when using high fat diet.
 
Cool like i said i haven't got to my first carb up yet. Thaks for the feedback. so should i just do a 24 hour carb then.

I need to give a reason? Have you ever taken a nutrition course?
I don't see any fruits or veggies, but I don't think most people write those when they show their diets 'cause the calories from fruits and veggies don't usually add up to anything significant or worth mentioning.

Guess there's no grains or fiber to speak of either.

Let me advise you.......... You should take a few courses at a community college in nutrition because you are absolutely way off base. What you said makes no sense at all and is very irresponsible. I will not sit back and watch people fuck up their life with shit like that for a diet.........I will say something unlike other guys on here. Now, with that being said, take my advice or leave it but I am not here to educate you unless we have an agreement.........High school and College is for that.

I'm still not quite sure I follow you.

Veggies are not calorie dense. I could eat a full head of cauliflower over the course of a day and only get 200 - 300 calories from it. When a person is laying out their diet and they're eating 3 or 4,000 calories a day, he or may not mention the fruits and veggies because they don't add up to much relative to the total caloric intake for the day.
 
So Phil what if i used chicken breast as my protien and then used a god efa for fats.

Is it the red meat that makes the diet so dangerous? Im trying just because i have seen some people get really good results from this. I do have about 20-30 carbs a day coming in from assorted veggies and leafy greens

4 cups of spinach = 28 calories

2.5 cups of apple = 143 calories
2.5 cups of pear = 239 calories
2.5 cups of orange = 212 calories

So let's see... the calories from fruits and veggies in a diet of 3,000 calories/day make up approximately 1/10th or 1/9th of the total.

If you ask me, that's a small amount. I guess we just disagree on what's a "small" amount.

I'm not saying that it's so small that people shouldn't eat their fruits and veggies; I'm simply saying that many times people won't include the calories in their calculations because they just don't make up a significant percentage, in addition to being fibrous and therefore thermogenic.

Definitely agreed.

But, in my defense, saying the information I tried to provide was "incorrect" is different. Having said that, however, I'm done here. :)

I didn't mean to argue with you, Phil, I just wasn't quite sure what you were saying because you can be short with your words at times.

I'd much rather hear what you have to say than you not say anything at all because people tend to be argumentative bitches (e.g. me). The advice you provide to the community is invaluable and I don't mean to undermine that.

The diet the poster has listed is ok if one is to follow the anabolic diet except for the 48 hrs you posted.

I will admit I'm on the same diet right now..I just came off gear and had all my bloodwork done..Everything with in normal range and my total cholestrol was 167 and I have been eating the shit out of 80/20 hamburger and a ton of whole eggs ea day. I just wish my HDL would have been a little higher then 39

Wonder what my arteries look like...LOL

I personally would be more concerned with the lack of fiber/phytonutrients in this diet... then the Sat animalfat/cholesterol intake but both would be of concern....

Well how long are you doing this diet???...Doesnt look like a death trap to me as long it is not a long term diet...I would definetly hope though that you have some sort of fiber, digestive supplement in there...

I think you could safely stay on this 8-10 more hours...............oh yes, some sort of fiber and a digestive supplement would be of benefit.
