Diet help for my girlfriend

thanks for all the replies....lol im not going to post pics without her OK first. she is 5 foot and just under 110 lbs. the reason the last 6 lbs is going to be tough is because she's a nurse on a cardiac unit. those days she might get lunch by 3 if she's lucky...and dinner if im home to cook, if im not she eats whatever is prepared in the fridge. on her days off she has school on tuesday its a 13 hr class one day a week with one lunch break around 3 pm, she just wont eat breakfast waking up at 5 am everyday she has school or work. on the days she doesnt have anything to do she uses the day to spend 12 hours studying. i believe the problem is that if her eating is erratic i cant get her to eat a bunch of small meals throughout the day to stoke the metabolism. anyway...im going to have phil do a diet up for her...lol save me the trouble of thinking.

Then why does he advocate Omega 6 fats?

Here's a hint ...you want to increase the ratio of omega 3 to omega 6 in your cellular membranes to FAVOR omega 3 NOT omega 6 if FATLOSS is a goal.

Yes, thats a great point. This could create a less than ideal environment for cardiac health.

Here's a hint ...you want to increase the ratio of omega 3 to omega 6 in your cellular membranes to FAVOR omega 3 NOT omega 6 if FATLOSS is a goal.

I think your mistaken, he does very much favor a higher ratio of omega 3 fats to omega 6. And as far as Sadie goes, he only advaocates dropping all of the fats during the end of a contest prep(the last month) to rid the last bit of fat, if she's not doing a competition I wouldn't drop the fat. There is much more to his diet than just 2 days of protein veggies one day of protein fat and its definetly an individual process based on progress made over many weeks. Any one starting that diet from day one like she described would probably be so miserable they wouldnt stay on it anyway.

I dont agree with cutting fats to lose more fat, it just does not make sense............but Dave looks great. Maybe that is why Sadie is miserable....that diet is hell

I really don't even feel like I'm on a diet , at least not yet....I just feel good and getting leaner and stronger. I'm glad I'm on the diet you set up for me Phil. I see others getting ready for shows and they are miserable.

No I'm not mistaken. You get more then enough omega 6 from food you don't need to supplement with it. He sells primrose oil I believe.

I don't care to discuss it in this thread but the science demonstrates that changing the cell membrane lipid make up in favor of omega 3 increases cellular metabolism, which increases energy expenditure and fatloss. The anecdotal evidence bears this out...

So why would you ever advocate supplementing omega 6 IF fatloss is your goal?

Beyond advocacy... he even sells omega 6.

In addition I never have seen him advocate the one oil that contains a compound that has the potential to signal positive changes in muscle metabolism...

Further more I have never seen him advocate the one oil that upregulates androgen receptors.

To me things like this are curious things...
