Right now I am cutting. Recently I have started cramping more often post workout after my muscles cool down. I doubt it's a dehydration issue as I drink about 2.5 gallons a day. I thought it might have something to do with my sodium intake but I have been eating a lot of extra seasonings and hot sauce on my meals so I don't think that's the issue either.

I have heard supplementing with 3-5 grams of Taurine daily can alleviate and stop cramping. Is there anything else I should be doing? Also, would the Taurine supplementing have any effect on my cutting? (Make me retain water or something or other) I don't see how it could have a negative effect but I figured I would check just to make sure.

just cuz your taking in water doesn't mean you are replenishing your electrolytes and those are needed to help keep your water in your body...
Potassium and magnesium supps are great, along with V8 juice and 1-3 grams taurine a day...
Should clear up your problem!!

I can't drink any v8 right now as I am dieting and I don't want to add any extra macros. Where do you get your potassium and magnesium? I plan on ordering my taurine from nutra bio. They have awesome prices.
