i thought this was interesting, tho nothing new. i cant believe nothing is getting done to correct it. we seem to be going in the wrong direction.

I don't buy everything organic all of the time, but I heard that organic spinach is very important as it's one of the vegetables where a lot of pesticides are used.

Been lazy lately. Eating a ton of canned spinach. If I recall correctly, I read a study on ergo log about how horrible canned produce was. :-(

Just easy, won't go bad on me. No fuss.

Hmm seems to be canned fruit (probably in syrup) that had a negative correlation. I don't believe the vegetables are so bad but I know frozen is better. I eat frozen brussel sprouts often.

I absolutely eat almost 100% organically, ive been in and around ag my entire life, i know what is sprayed, and i don't want to ingest that. If if comes from Mexico i sure don't eat it!

oh i luv beets pickled or not, tho never tried them canned. id becareful with canned items they can contain BPA. try to get things in glass.

frozen and fresh spinach, it all tastes ok but I do prefer the fresh organic. Just sucks that u cook a whole bag and can eat it yourself

We only buy Organic and we also use Fit Wash. You would be surprised at what comes off it.

I sanitize everything that leaves my farm, per USDA, 1tsp bleach / gal of water kills all microbes, then it's rinsed several more times. Going thru the process of getting my compliance certificate with USDA Food Safety Act, pathogen free food = no lawsuits...
