No not with surgery. Ive had a messed up bicep I havent been able to train about five months now. 10 lbs hurts it. Had an MRI appointment but insurance didn't cover it, so waiting to see if they will
I wish you the very best with recovery. Might want to take it easy since you just had surgery for a while, yes?
I had my left bicep get a partial tear and had to have it reattached. It was a full 2 months before I could do anything. The PT was hard at first and my strength came back over time It's been 5 years now and it still bother me from time to time. If I had to do it all over again I would have allowed myself a little more time to heal. I have injuries before to different muscle and they have always healed up just fine. But this tendon just never has healed right. Good luck and a speedy recovery
I tore my distal head completely in a logging accident.repaired it surgically and it healed really well.i did rehab everyday for 9 months before returning to work or weight training. Also ran 2-3 oh of high every day the entire time. It shortened up the muscle a tiny bit but nobody notices but me. After 9 months of rehab I returned to gym full force. You don't really want to weight train until most of the atrophy is gone bro. Treat it well through rehab and you'll get your gun back nearly 100-%
