Distal Bicep Tendon Repair

I had this done about 5 or 6 years ago and when he repaired it the muscle insertion changed quite a bit( in that it got shorter). I was just curious if anyone else had this repair and had the same result.

Had the injury complete tear from elbow joint. Doc does not want to fix it. Happened 8 months ago, look weird but no issues
 
Yes had the surgery 6 yrs ago. My bicep from the front is longer and narrower
but when flexed it looks very close to the non hurt bicep.
