Things are only worth keeping if you work hard for them. It definitely takes two people to make a marriage work. I'm glad you're working on it together. I hate to see so many divorces. You married each other for a reason . Good luck and God bless the both of you.

This is good news. I'm 50, I have friends who have been through huge challenges in their marriage, myself included, made a mutual commitment to try as best they can to make things better, and are now living happily ever after. Well, mostly happy. Best wishes to you and your wife.

Damn, I hadn't though of that but I think it is a legitimate concern. I think too that it will make a statement to her that she is on "probation". This statement may make things harder though.
