Dnp and heating pad/ice pack

My buddy has used dnp before but this time he used a heating pad (30 minutes each love handle and 30 minutes stomach) and did a midsection work out. Hours later he applied an ice pack to each area that he used the heating pad on. (15x2 on each love handles and stomach)

He got amazing spot reduction from this that has never happened before.

Can someone shed some light on what happened? I'm assuming heating up specific bodyparts then working them out helped? I also heard that coolsculpting thing docs use to kill fat is based on kids faces leaning out from eating too many Popsicle. I'm guess the ice helped kill off the fat cells?

Any info would be great.

the cool sculpture liposuction is much cooler than simply placing a bag of ice on something. I am gonna guess he carries more fat in his stomach area than other areas and lost fat all around it just seems like more came from the stomach because thats where the majority is stored. highly doubt the icing / heating had any effect on so called "spot reduction"

He's done this before and weightloss in the mid section is always very last to go and even then not as drastic. The weight left first when he used cold packs and heating pad. The cool sculpting thing isn't much colder, just penetrates better. Having ice on for as long as the cool sculpting will result in skin damage/death possibly. A doctor wont tell you that the process behind it came from kids eating Popsicle. That's why you gotta know a doc personally to get the real deal.

anyway, because nothing changed but heating pad and ice packs, I have no doubt they caused the local weight loss accelerate.
