Has anyone noticed strength loss during training . I found no difference during cardio at all my my strength took a big dive I assume because my glycogen is depleted.

Definitely from glycogen depletion. I’d keep your gym sessions short and to the point. Warm up m, one hard set and per exercise and get out

I have used Dnp on and off since Duchaine made us aware. Yes your strength will dip. I mostly use fruits for my carb sources while running it You will feel depleted. I still find it the best fat burner and cost effective. I usually run 200mg a day for a longer run rather than push the dosage up. I know others don’t like it because of the potential dangers but 200 mg a day has worked great for me

Been years since I’ve used DNP but my strength definitely always took a shit.

How dumb would DNP with a splash of tren be?
Why wouldnt you run tren when you already have decided to use something like DNP? You are already considered stupid by most people just by considering DNP, lol

it makes sense to couple it with tren from an anticatabolic point of view, its synergistic towards the goal of fat loss and maintaining muscle and some performance in the gym.

is it healthy or good for you? no, you are driving your body hard and taking risks you need to be aware of and accept if you are going to go down that road.

tldr: Depending on who you ask, from very stupid to it making sense when you are using DNP to cut hard and fast.

I'm assuming you are doing quite a low dose because you 1. didn't feel it in your cardio...at alll and 2. not feeling the heat

definitely keep sodium very, very high when running dnp - especially when going low/no carb
I'd love to see someone post up a diet for the day, nutrition tips, ideas, for someone running DNP.

I personally have used primarily chicken and white fish for protein. I have found vastly increasing fruit sources has worked well while cutting down vastly on complex carbs with oatmeal being my choice as needed. Also pickles are utilized and seem to help in an almost limitless amount of. I’m sure others may do it differently but this formula has worked well for me at a very tolerable dose of 200 mg Dnp a day. Occasionally I have thrown in a 2nd dose a day twice a week

I'd just do the regular PSMF, periworkout carbs so you are able to work out.

Its not like you need or theres any reason to have a different diet on a diet with DNP vs without it. You might want to limit carbs if you are prone to overheating and depending on the dose, but <300mg a day it shouldnt matter much.

You had people recommending basing your diet off of fruits/berries, probably helps liver glycogen and so on and you might overheat less compared to more glucose based carbsources.

edit: were you thinking more from a micronutrient and electrolyte POV?

If I'm taking DNP, I'm not gonna worry about gaining muscle, strength, or even pushing as hard as I can via resistance training.
My goal is to lose fat and stay alive lol
I'm not gonna potentially tear a muscle because my strength goes down.

Why Pickles? The sodium?

It can lower strength slightly but for many that effect is probably compounded from massively restricting calories when running DNP so it's a double whammy. A lot of guys pretty much half their calories so you will deplete extremely fast and your strength will go to shit that way. If you move down gradually and keep the DNP dose sensible everything will be minimized. I would recommend ensuring sodium and water are high when running DNP and I would add a protein, carb and fat meal preworkout. I would keep training volume sensible to manage fatigue and try to remain as strong as possible even if that means less reps than normal just try to keep using the same weight through your diet.

i cut down the volume but increase the weight

also utilizing a lot of rest/pause and cluster set - type techniques

E.G. say i can bench 225x10 in normal circumstances

on DNP and PSMF, i'll do 245 for 4+4+3+2 (or as best as i can do) with 10-15 second breaks between each cluster

i find my strength holds up well on DNP, but stamina and endurance diminish very rapidly - so this training style works pretty well
