DNP thread

This is my third run with DNP.

Started at 264.6
Currently 268.4

First 5 days 500mg (Crystal version)

Last two days 750 mg (crystal version)

My question is for the first five days I was doing weights, cardio and eating really well, so is the 4 lb weight gain in water justifiable? Now on the weekend I am amping up my carbs to see if I can burn more fat. I hope I am not gaining any weight because the scale is telling me otherwise.

Water gain on DNP is quite common. The amount will vary. It's not unusual to see no change on the scale till after the run is finished (for a short run), and then you lose the water.

I still dont understand why people weigh themselves when taking dnp.

you gained extra water because
A) you are on DNP
B) you increased your carbs, which there was absolutely no reason to do. Not that is matters from a fat loss standpoint, but it will cause you more water retention

just put the scale away, and enjoy the ride. If you are that concerned about bloat, reduce your carbs

okay today is my last day (Sunday) and hopefully monday most of the water will start coming off. If I add anti-dureitics will that help to get rid of the water faster?

I'm pretty sure that an anti-diuretic would have the opposite effect. Relax man. Give it a week and you'll see the fruits of your labor.

something like Expel or Taraxatone could help, but I wouldn't use something like lasix. Personally I'd wait it out

Alright ill just wait it out. The reason I ask is because I have a bet with a buddy of weighing 260 before Thursday (last day before break) and I want to win the $100. I made the bet in middle of december and I was 315.

if your goal was to hit 260 by thursday and youve been on dnp for 7 days so far, you could of easily just of lost the weight natuarlly by cutting carbs and sodium and saved the dnp.
