Do incline dumbbell presses hit your side delts at all?

Honestly it's a product of laziness. I do back work after deadlifting and after I pull heavy the last thing I want to do is a row variation where my lower back has to support the load. If I didn't deadlift I would probably do barbell rows.

Why I always do deadlifts on leg day and then can row till the sun dont shine on back day.

I used to have one of those red Parillo curved benches, Maldorf.

That was THE BEST adjustable bench ive ever used, hands down.

I would pay good bucks to have one for my home. I live near John and used to know him awhile back. I should call him up and see if he still has any.

My buddy and I decided to make the 60+ mile drive up to Oxnard CA, where the Ironman Magazine offices are located, back in 1998.

We got up there and went into the warehouse where we were met by John Balik. He told us we could look around, and we made our way over to the area where they do all the photo shoots. They had a bunch of great equipment in there - Larry Scott benches, all kinds of cool stuff. Then my buddy see's the Parillo bench and freaks out. Balik ask him whats up, and my buddy says "is that bench for sale?".

Balik says they dont sell the equipment for photo shoots, but tells my buddy "since you guys drove all the way up here from Anaheim to check out our warehouse, and since you guys are buying a few items, I will give you the bench for $50."

My buddy nearly had a heart attack. We got the bench, we also got a boat load of Ironman back issues, as well as several books.

We used that bench for years, until my buddy moved. I didnt have the space for it, so i let him have the bench.

Great piece of equipment.
