Do long DNP cycles lose their effectiveness?

For example, 500mg a day for 3-4 weeks
 
You do build a tolerance after a couple weeks but it is easily countered by increasing the dose by 100-200 mgs
 
From what I've heard you do build a tolerance, that's why it's suggested you don't go past 2-3 weeks on. Something like 2-3 weeks on/ 2-3 weeks off I believe I've read.

I dont know if you guys are right or not, i read the "DNP - All info is here" thread, and it said you dont build a tolerance to it
 
There is some degree of tolerance that all people have to dnp and from multiple short and long experiences with dnp, it does indeed seem like overtime you do build some kind of tolerance to a particular dosage, but even then there is a limit to tolerances and that tolerance can easily be defeated by simply upping the dosage. Maybe all that is needed is just an extra cap(200-250mg) and that tolerance can be gone.
 
Around those I know who do DNP, I have taken it the longest at 200mg for 3 months in a row and another cycle at 400mg for 2 months.

Basically I found that heat went down to almost not noticable, energy was still a bit low, but caloric burning did NOT seem to decrease and I tested that regularly. However, I wouldn't suggest that for everyone for tons of reasons.
 
sides seem to decrease after time but not effectiviness.
could be worng lots of variables:D

I don't know if the sides really do fade or if you just get used to them and it seems normal to you until you come off and then you realize..."ohhhh this is how i'm supposed to be" lol
 
wanted to resurrect this thread, dnp tolerance is something i still don't really understand. i hit the 2 week mark at 400mg, and all of a sudden the heat sensation has mostly dissipated. in fact i tested by eating a 100g carb meal last night and didn't even get hot - just lethargic as fuck. it makes me wonder, though. kind of strange.
 
Adding carbs is a good way to find out honestly. Maybe stop for 7 days let it clear start again with carbs see if you start pooring.

I've always thought it was "kind of" like ephedrine in a sense where you get "used" to the feeling but the fat burning does not stop. It's my understanding that your body has no defense mechanism for dnp, which is why you can overheat and die, so therefore calorie burning wouldn't decrease with long term use.

The original studies from the 1930s show that people build a tolerance over time. Increasing the dose worked in the studies, as did taking a 2 week break.

People would take it for months at a time then under a doctor's supervision. Sometimes over a year. It was promoted as a drug for obesity, not something for bodybuilders to use in their cutting cycles. I'd hope people here wouldn't have enough fat to lose that they'd need it for a year straight.

It's just weird that the heat kinda just completely stops at some point in the 2 week range for me. Happens every single time.

It's just the heat sensation after eating carbs. For some reason food intake doesn't have the same response as it does earlier in the cycle.

Yeah can't imagine using it that long. Longest I've ever gone is 1 month which put me down to 9-10% and I was beyond satisified.

I've never tried to keep going past that - would be interesting to see "how low can you go" on a DNP cycle body fat % wise.
 
I have never tried it, But would love to try it once at a very low dose to see the results while following the usual diet I use to get lean.

Watched a good friend try it once and he had a severe allergic reaction to it that benadryl wouldn't touch. Ended up having to get prescribed antihistamines and it took a few days before his hands didn't look like "clubs".

That scared me from ever trying it.

That had never happened to me.. I just get used to feeling like a piece of shit, so it seems like the effect wears off

I suspect that basically the body will stop the metabolism as the body fat is smaller, but if you keep pushing, will simply die. I would say that 400 mg daily is more dangerous when you have 5% body fat than if you have 10%.

100 mg/day is more effective for me than ephedrine, clen, t3, or any other cutting drug out there. It doesn't interfere with my workouts or job at that dose.

I did get itchy skin the first few times I tried it. Now I take zyrtec in the morning and benadryl in the evening to prevent this. That probably wouldn't be enough for someone with a severe allergy.
