From what I've heard you do build a tolerance, that's why it's suggested you don't go past 2-3 weeks on. Something like 2-3 weeks on/ 2-3 weeks off I believe I've read.
wanted to resurrect this thread, dnp tolerance is something i still don't really understand. i hit the 2 week mark at 400mg, and all of a sudden the heat sensation has mostly dissipated. in fact i tested by eating a 100g carb meal last night and didn't even get hot - just lethargic as fuck. it makes me wonder, though. kind of strange.

The original studies from the 1930s show that people build a tolerance over time. Increasing the dose worked in the studies, as did taking a 2 week break.
People would take it for months at a time then under a doctor's supervision. Sometimes over a year. It was promoted as a drug for obesity, not something for bodybuilders to use in their cutting cycles. I'd hope people here wouldn't have enough fat to lose that they'd need it for a year straight.
It's just weird that the heat kinda just completely stops at some point in the 2 week range for me. Happens every single time.
It's just the heat sensation after eating carbs. For some reason food intake doesn't have the same response as it does earlier in the cycle.

That had never happened to me.. I just get used to feeling like a piece of shit, so it seems like the effect wears off
I've never tried to keep going past that - would be interesting to see "how low can you go" on a DNP cycle body fat % wise.
I have never tried it, But would love to try it once at a very low dose to see the results while following the usual diet I use to get lean.
Watched a good friend try it once and he had a severe allergic reaction to it that benadryl wouldn't touch. Ended up having to get prescribed antihistamines and it took a few days before his hands didn't look like "clubs".
That scared me from ever trying it.
