The "do you up the dose" thread got me thinking. It doesn't seem surprising that increasing the dose would lead to more gains (even if at a slower rate). But what about the reverse, can you continue growing on the same dose indefinitely? I remember reading that your receptors become downgraded after long time use, so you need to keep increasing the dose or you will stop seeing gains. I think this was also the rationale behind time on = time off. Is that still considered true? Seems like a lot of people stay on much longer now. How long can you be on a cycle before your receptors start to degrade (if that's the right term) or become less responsive to steroids?
To take a hypothetical, if you were on 500mg test for a year, at what point would you stop seeing growth response?
