Do steroids affect your brain like recreational drugs ?

I've met some incredibly smart people running gear who stayed very smart, also know some terribly stupid guys running gear who stayed just as stupid. For me I don't think it has any effect on my iq

Dude you just saved me, school starts this Friday for me, I'm graduating in another semster and this semster I'm taking the hardest classes my major has got to offer, I'm an engineering student and taking system analysis, computer architecture , differental equations, and dynamics, I'm starting my cycle maybe Monday, , I would have started earlier but TK has been closed and was waiting on them. My system analysis course is the hardest my school offers and only one PHD son of a bitch teaches it, he fails seniorsleft and right and it takes excesss tudying for his class , if my cycle affects me I'm going to stop , I can't fail, my Gpa is at a 2.9 and just got accepted to the MTA as an on sight mechnical engineer, they need me to graduate with a 3.0 to start at 70k . I can't fuck up or ill regret juicing . I hope its all just a myth, my cycle is winny and prop for 10 weeks.

I would suggest you focus on finishing this semester and then worrying about cycles. A semester is less than 4 months, and you will then be on your way to have a good career. Or, you can hit the sauce, spend time worrying about how you look in the mirror every 10mins, wondering if new changes are happening, getting ready for the gym, preparing all that food, looking at porn all day, wasting your time talking to a thousand chicks. Just get it over with, prioritize and then do what you have to do.

For me, juice + science studies don't mix. Maybe some can do it, I definetely can't. If anything, the shift in priorities is very very real and no one can dispute this.

"most" recreational drugs express their effects through altering the activity of one or more neurotransmitters.

MDMA- seretonin releasing agent
Cocaine- A potent dopamine and norepinepherine reuptake inhibitor (and seretonin to a lesser extent)
Amphetamines (meth, adderall etc etc)- Dopamine and Norepinipherine releasing agents.
Ethanol and GHB- Gaba receptor Agonist
psilocin, DMT- Seretonin agonist
mescaline-Seretonin and dopamine agonist

While some steroids may exhibit effects on neurotransmitters, the degree is likely to a much lesser extent than potent rec drugs. Anabolic steroids are believed to have an effect on Gaba receptors, increased chloride ion flow dampens activity in the central nervous system and probably is the reason for initial aas users reporting antianxiety effects. There are also studies showing nandrolone down regulating dopamine receptors.

As mentioned, most things we put in our body have effects on neurotransmittiers. When we eat, seretonin levels are increased. I would not worry about the neurotoxicity seen with meth use and the like.

Dunno if this is your first cycle or not, but if it is I would hold off. You will find your priorities will probably shift with a bit more focus on the gym, eating, and fucking. If you have a 2.9 and need to raise your GPA a full 0.1 you need to be absolutely no lifing it and getting an A or B. Now if you think steroids will make you dumber, so you end up studying harder, go for it!

many rec drugs can be/are prescription ones and different effects/actions in the body.

that's why I asked this, I can't focus on school... I try to read a page, I CANT focous, right now I'm reading a book and typing this :0

I have issues concentrating and being creative.
But I find that coffee and clenbuterol makes the focus come back.

Strangely the creativity does not.
