The trick is not using a big syringe. I've drawn and injected a few types of oils through a 29, 30 and 31 gauge. But the volume is low. Right now I prefer using a 1/2" 30 gauge .5 ml syringe. I do between 2 and 6 injects per week with it depending on what I'm using. BTW, I never warm the oil up. You just have to be patient drawing the oil, pul 5 - 10 clicks at a time and wait - takes maybe 90 seconds to load. I always inject slowly so no noticeable difference. It's much easier than trying to push oil through a 27 gauge needle with a 3 ml syringe - but I've done that many times too. However, I usually go to a 25 if the volume is higher - much smoother.
You are so RIGHT! I received my 1 ml luer lock syringe and injected with a 27 gauge and I used a 23 gauge to draw. It was so easy to push it through. Using a 3 ml makes it so much harder to push it through. I waiting to get the 30 gauge 3/4 inch and try it out with the 1 ml syringe. :headbang: Rock on!
