I'm not talking about my own stuff. It seems like there are some really talented filmmakers getting into the bodybuilding DVD world and that the quality has been steadily increasing

You all agree?

What do you like about the new DVDs?

What don't you like?

What would you like to see in the future?

Answers to these questions are like market research for me. It helps to know what the audience is interested in.

To me The best dvd's are the ones I can go back and watch two or three times and get something from - training wise.
Justin Harris's dvd was awesome, Dorian's and a few others. All of Kai's MD video's with Charles Glass were terrific. Things of that nature. I don't want to see him eat, his toys and all that. Some people like the lifestyle one's. I just don't want to watch that stuff a second time.
I would love to see a true modern example of someone who does HIT and has the Mass to prove it- Gordon Lavelle comes to mind. The video's can be pricey so I really look for something I can learn a lot from- New exercise's, tips etc.
Looking forward to your upcoming stuff with Kai.

i watched melven's dvd and thought it was the most boring dvd ever, jay cutler's on the other hand are some of the best, what i want in a dvd is motivation, inspiration, and info. kay green is the one pro tha has inspired me the most, and i appreciate his wisdom, knowledge,and philosophy. i hope that helps!

i liked ronnies because they didnt miss a meal. i like seeing a day in their life or a week.

also, i cant remember who it was but i saw one bb documentary long ago about gear use and really the whole darkside of the sport. it was dramatic, uncensored and real. now days the pros cant do that because it would end their career. some of the retired guys could do it though.

I loke the behind the scenes DVDs the more real life ones. not the gym training. hell there are tons of gym DVDs and it gets boring.

I like the narrative of the RTB and kai movies. and the little daily things they do. it helps connect with the people in the movie seeing they go through the same things we do.

When my GF and i split....6 weeks before a show i contacted dave because i saw in the RTB he and jen split...and he did the show instead of pulling out. I knew he wasnt talking out of hsi ass....but had been through it. he would know how i feel and what to say, and his advice was invaluable to me. if i had not seen the DVD i may have pulled out, and not met my GF Kari.....at the show. And maybe missed out on the best thing in my life. But i stayed the course with Daves advice.......and things couldnt be better!

This made the RTB movies real, informative and inspiring to me.

Id love to see more of the day to day life aspect of it. All these guys can go into the gym, lift a bunch of weight, and talk about their training methods. But i feel like seeing the rest of what goes on is more important. The constant eating, Active resting, and trying to fit that into a regular day with family and work. It gives the viewer a better sence of what it really takes to build that physique.

Mike, hook up with BigKiwi man. hes got a good personality and has seen it all ...the ups and downs. he aint shy either! he is one of the most extreme bber i have ever read about. that mutha goes big at everything he does, and i personally feel like if he would sit down and really thoroughly go through his own trials and tribulations, it could possibbly be one of the best bb dvd's ever made.
