Agreed. The only time I use protein powder really is
milk protein which I make into a nice thick paste and spoon feed. Great at end of cheat meal to make you feel full and stop pounding the food or just controlling calorie intake full stop as it makes me feel nice andfull up.Just a nice treat for me as I love the taste and texture and if I'm not cutting don't really bother counting it in my macros. If I have cream of rice I use toffee flavoured whey purely because it's nice and mixes well and almost feels like a cheat meal. Being in UK i don'trreally have access to some of the high quality powders you guys do without paying silly postage so I really on solid food and the shakes just a treat/bonus. My kg of chicken brest daily gives me 220g of quality solid protein anyway, and i always have a
tin of pilchards for breakfast. Throw a few large steak and egg baguettes in a week on big workout days and I'm more than covered
