Doc found huge hard mass on top of my bicep!!!

I noticed that my right bicep didn't look right so went to the doctor for a checkup .he felt the mass. and said I need a catscan A. S. A.P
I asked if it could be cancer and just gave me this look of concern
Then gave me script for my acid reflux and is doing a full blood planel to check my cholesterol and all the other stuff.
Then I asked him since I lost so much weight if there's anything he can do for all the loose skin? He said to call my insurance and ask them if there's a surgeon that can remove all the skin and tell them my primary care recommends its and wants to know who to write the referral to.
So I have a bunch of shit on my plate.
I just hope I don't have cancer that's all I need with all the injurys and pain I already go through.

I haven't did a bicep injection in like 16 years.
Is it possible it could if been there all this time ,I didn't notice it. Because of all the fat that was covering it!

Take it easy until you find out what it is... most growths are benign.

I remember back in my 20's looking in the mirror and seeing this tumor like growth on my lat, it looked like a huge lump under my skin. I crapped myself and went to have it checked out. Turned out it was just a lipoma, a bunch of fat cells grouping together. Stay positive, brother...

Partial bicep tear?? I have seen guys with this and only a small strand rolls up into the bicep and is not even visible but only by touch.

Did he do an ultrasound first?? Why a cat scan first??

What makes you jump to cancer?? did he take a biopsy of it??

It's. definitely not a bicep tear it doesn't hurt and it is visible to the eye.
He wants a catscan first then he'll take it from there.
When I asked him if he thinks it cancer he said. It could be its a large mass and he seemed worried ,hopefully it's not .

Just get the catscan so you don't have to stress it.

Get it checked. But you can also get lipomas which is nothing more than a fatty tumor that doesn't do anything besides sit you in doing nothing. It can be removed or you can live with them forever. No sense in worrying until you know for sure. But get it scanned!

Bicep

My son just went through this last month. He's in his 20's. Doc found a lump in his mouth. Doc scarred the shit out of us, by telling us it looked serious. I guess Doc's are good at this. The lump was removed and a biopsy done at the same time. Results came back negative for cancer.
