Not controversial or as overly exciting as some that have been listed but I really like
“The men that built America” and “The food that built America” series’ on the History channel.
Really cool ti see how Carnegie, JP Morgan, Rockefeller and more build the empires and business they did back before there was were even telephones.
Also It’s really interesting (to me at least) to see the story of the everyday food and brands that are a part of our lives and you don’t even think about. Both are really easy watching.
Other then that the History channel sucks anymore.

Back in the day The Smashing Machine was a pretty eye opening documents that I enjoyed.

Mr. Death: The Rise and Fall of Fred A. Leuchter, Jr. was good. Beyond The Mat. Cocaine Cowboys. Bigger Faster Stronger and pretty much all of Chris Bell's documentaries have been pretty good IMO. Tread. Party Monster.​

Smashing Machine is an excellent documentary, I own it on DVD and loan it out to all my newbie UFC fans so they can see what a real killer looked like.
