Does anybody else eat bison?

I'm currently on the "young poor man who can only afford to bodybuild if done in the cheapest manner" diet, which means bulk chicken breast, green beans, white rice, etc. Bang for your buck. But I've had it before, love it, and look forward to being able to afford some higher quality food down the road!

I love bison. I also have 3 bison farms around me. I usually butcher a half every year. One thing I've noticed, if you get them around 800 to 1000 lbs, the quality of meat is much better. I, like concreter, eat it every day. Soak some ground bison with Braggs Liquid Aminos and some pepper, throw it on the dehydrator, and you got a fantastic snack.

Yes. They are f'n awesome! The next time im at the farm I want to try the bison meatloaf though. I also bough a huge bison roast a few years back that was amazing.

Ive tried a few times. Its ok. Price is 2-3x more than cow and the only place that carries it (that I know) of is a 30 min drive.

I'll stick to my sirloin from Costco for $4/lb.

Love me some bison, but as has been said, it can be a little pricey.

Lately I've been hooked on water buffalo. Some guy brought a bunch over from Guam and Trinidad to north FL and started a ranch. Costs $10 for 1.5 lbs at the farmer's market, and the stuff is delicious.

Almost all grass fed bison is GMO corn finished, this includes Whole Foods bison...

I love that stuff 2 the price is definitely a little tough.Bison chili is by far my favorite low fat high protein.Cant beat it,the meat is tender and rich.Even the wife likes it that says a lot she doesnt like anything healthy.
