Does anyone think GHB will ever make a comeback or appear in the underground market?

Ive been reading more and more on sleep and I came across this guy's excellent substack. His X posts are good as well. We've seen GLP-1s explode lately, even on the underground market where it is readily available. Does anyone think GHB will ever make a underground comeback? I've seen sponsors offer a bunch of stuff, but I've never seen one offer underground GHB.

I grew up in the era of the prohormones and completely missed the GHB craze where everyone was taking it for sleep and HGH increases.

I don’t think sources will sell it. It’s a class 1 drug like heroin. People can OD on it. People can kill and date rape woman and men with it. Not the same risk as steroid distribution.

There are two good sources on the dark web. It has been disproven that it doesn’t stimulate GH.

It competes with a lot more designer and synthetic drugs now. I still use it every now and then.

Seems like there’s better alternatives available with less risk, and are probably more effective for sleep or increasing hgh.

It’s kind of a slippery path to go down if you’re using it for those purposes. Based on some brief reading it seems to be massively addictive with bad withdrawals effects and a lot of risks and interactions. I wouldn’t touch it personally

I think considering its reputation for being used as a date rape drug I would say no. However: I worked security jobs in my 20s and I worked a couple gay events.. it is a popular drug in their community. We had to be very alert for ODs and there were a few. Luckily they lived. They would turn super pale and pass out. Anyway if you know any gay dudes they can probably get you some.

I used ghb for prob 10 years to help me sleep. And it worked better than anything available today I only used it to sleeps I had no idea till after I could no longer get it people were using it it to party or drug someone. A source would be asking for big time scrutiny to sell it. The markup to make it worth while would have to be high.
I read about 1 pharma company looking to study and patent it for a sleep product shortly after it was reclassified years ago. Can't see that ever happening.

@buck I just remembered my cousin has narcolepsy and he is actually prescribed GHB. He has said it’s a lifesaver for him. So it is available through pharmacies just he said its 3 signatures or whatever. Very controlled. Not surprising

Don't see how it was disproven. You could also date rape someone by giving them basic antipsychotics such as seroquel.

I asked my dr and there is a prescription form of it for severe insomnia but he so that it’s more dangerous than never sleeping. Not everyone abuses drugs. And if you’re using it to sleep and not get high it should be available. But like a lot of things the degenerate fucks ruin it for us all. I think all the scum that drug and rape women need to be put down like the useless fuck they are. They all need to die.

GHB is widely available and still popular in The Netherlands, but mostly as a party drug. Used a lot at raves but also sex parties. Also seen quite some people lose their shit using it, so I don’t recommend using it at all.
