Wow man, that's rough and mercury poisoning is no joke. I love fish too and yep I also eat those flavored tuna packs as well, maybe 1 or 2 a week though. A good warning to all you fish lovers out there! Thanks man
I honestly was a big fish eater since I was a teen-27. Throughout offseason, sushi 1-2x per week. But, March 2020 I began eating the flavored tuna packs daily. WAY TO MANY... on top of sushi lol. I never even thought of mercury, until I got tested. After speaking to and learning a ton from Jason Huh, who was a big fish eater as well. Unfortunately most of todays ocean waters are filled with this crap, so its not just tuna. Usually any big fish that have long lives. People assume farm raised, but that's not the case for mercury.
Thank you for the heads up. We had a thread about this a while ago. What do you think is a safe amount of tuna to eat per week? 3-4 cans? I was eating 2 daily when someone told me to cut back. No symptoms. I used to eat daily in college as well with no problem but don't want to risk itThanks man
