Donate Blood to not raise suspicion from Endo?

My endo does my blood work twice a year. This usually gives me 12 weeks to blast and come off. I went a little longer this time and was going to donate blood to bring Hematocrit RBC back in range, but from past blood work my ferritin keeps tanking. Ferritin is now 38 low for my liking.

Can i donate and take Iron to compensate, or will that increase RBC again?

Currently....
RBC is 6.4
Hemoglobin is 17
hematocrit is 53.

I got 12 weeks to bring it back in range roughly.
