So the girl that works at the blood donation center I go to talked me into doing the double draw action.
Other than taking about 10 mins longer and feeling the "cold" blood going back into my arm, it wasn't any different than the single draw that I could tell.
To show me how much a difference it makes, she took my iron levels after I was done - dropped from 16.7 before giving double to 14.2 afterwards.
Be interesting to see how much more hematocrit drops doing doubles which I assume will be the case.
