Donating blood, is it necessary?

Yes, I was tested prior to the start as a cause for low test and was negative, to help with insurance coverage.

I do labs twice a year. 2 donations shouldn’t take ferritin 6 months apart to require iron (i hope).

For year, my hct is always 42-46 looking back in the app.
A little iron cap will be the smallest part of your whole routine but so worth it. I take one daily because my RBC/hct was getting high. If that is the case you need iron to keep up with all the extra production. Daily iron, blood donation 3 times a year, 20mg TRT + some extras some times, everything is in range, CBC, iron, ferritin.

A new randomised clinical trial, published in the journal JAMA Network Open, has found regularly donating blood or plasma can reduce blood PFAS levels.

PFAs are often referred to as "forever chemicals" because they do not break down easily in the environment and can accumulate over time in the human body and wildlife. Concerns have been raised about their potential health effects, including links to cancer, liver damage, immune system effects, and developmental issues. As a result, there is increasing regulatory scrutiny and efforts to limit their use and exposure.

Blood viscosity aside, donate 2-3x per year.

The queries remains, what quantitative amount will the recipient(s) receive?
