This might be a dumb question but I will subject myself to be criticized anyway. Does donating blood help clean your receptors for anabolics? I have never donated but I feel like I should. I am O negative so I'm sure the red cross would love for me to donate. Thanks for honest opinions.

No, blood donations have no effect on receptors.

I just got denied blood donation because I went out of the country a while back. If I go to a different bank outside my city/county will I still be flagged?

Getting whole blood taken is not inclusive of what it means to get plasma or platelets taken.

Giving double is fine, in fact giving 3 times a year regular is fine too but might as well give double !!!

In my case, I told my doctor if I can go the phlebotomy route hut he told me to get off everything and drink lots of water. My hemoglobin was at 19! I had no other choice but to donate at a hospital. I don't have any diseases or sickness and I see it as a win-win. My hemo is now down to 14. I donate every 2 months religiously. Ain't tryna catch a stroke.

TRT is a red herring because the issue is underground, unlicensed, unregulated drugs. TRT patients are qualified to donate—and not required to lie on the questionnaire—because they receive regulated pharmaceuticals that are subject to FDA approval and quality control. The same can't be said of underground gear. Guys may convince themselves that UG labs are sanitary because it's convenient, but please don't project that wishful thinking onto innocent people who need blood transfusions. (Have you ever seen any photo of a busted UG lab that would have met FDA standards?) If your hematocrit is high, please get a phlebotomy. It's unethical to use the red cross as a personal laboratory.

I'm not sure I disagree or agree. What could you possibly have from using UG gear? If it's anything significant than I I think we all should take a huge step back and forget the UG.

Do to they test all blood anyway?
