dont agree with some of Carwins exercises here, could use some diff trainers?

I think the exercises are classic strength and core training, just what he needs.

Those are exactly what he should be doing. High rep compound exercises to improve strength and conditioning overall. His fight game will improve from his fight training, he spends plenty of time boxing/wrestling/practicing BJJ..

Hopefully he spent some more time running this camp :D

Looks legit to me, he's obviously not trying to go the Lesnar route. He needs to be doing more strength conditioning and cardio training so he doesn't get so tired during his fights.

I think he will do good. I notice though many wrestlers after they have success tend to stray away from there wrestling and power base thinking there more well rounded fighters then they are and start losing there after. I hate to see a guy get away from what got him to the dance plus I love seeing 270lb guys fighting :)

I hope he can finish Junior early. If it's gets out of round 1 i don't see him being able to win the fight.Even more tough because he hasn't had a fight since the lesnar fight. Hopefully his cardio has improved.

Is it just me or does he look A LOT leaner?

He looked leaner, a bit smaller(My guess to build up his wind)

I just hope he hasnt lost alot of power with the weight

I would say that he probably hasnt lost any strength but will actually develope more force with his strikes because his limbs will now be moving faster.

I see a lot of his training (this video was shot at Armbrust Pro Gym) and Shane trains his ass off. I would agree that his training is right on for the reasons mentioned previously. I don't follow him or some of the other fighters that train at Armbrust (Brendan Schaub, etc.) because I am just not a big fight fan but there is no doubt he will be in great condition. I might make it a point to see this fight, after all.

Skip

He does look leaner. He already has the power, just needs to work on the stamina.
