A member on Mayhem jumped my shit saying that us bodybuilders are no different from him. He said that some of the things we do to our body's is just as equal as to what he did.

I suppose in some way I could see why someone would say that what we do is just as bad as what he did. Many bodybuilders start out to get attention, as I'm sure he wanted to do as well. Some people say that what we do is disguisting, to those people I can give a big hearty "fuck you". This little guy probably gets constant shit for doing what he did, but it's his body. I personally think he's a fuckin' idiot, but he may think that me wanting to get up to 300 pounds at 6' tall is idiotic too.

That actually reminded me of the steak I ate the other night at Outback! So this kid was celebrating his kid's 1st birthday!?! He looks like a responsible parent, I'm sure his kid will be pleased with daddy's present. My kid's birthday is in a few months, maybe I will get something like that done to my scrotum!

What struck me wasn't as much what he did to himself but how he and his other "friends" justified it so well and so easily within his little online community. They are sure that they are the normal ones and everyone else just "doesn't understand". Hmmm..... Kinda sounds like discussions about AAS that I have read over and over on the boards for years. It probably would illicit the same response from normal people who would read our threads about how unfairly we are treated with the terribly unfair AAS laws - boo hoo, etc.. If I read one more "can't we just be left alone to do what we want".... I will get sick. That whining response is no different than this freak's justification for what he does.

Is he attention seeking? Duh, but aren't we all? Is he insecure and hardly what we would consider a good representation of a society that we would want our kids raised in? Duh, of course not, but we as steroid toting bodybuilders are looked at in much the same light by the mainstream, also.
Is his kid pretty much screwed? Probably. lol Then again, some would wonder about my kids and probably yours, too.

In short, look, the kid is a weirdo, freak, loser, whatever you want to call him. Just don't throw too big of a stone or not only will YOUR glass house shatter but mine might, also.
