Genetic its genetic, if your metabolism is slow stay away even of your own insulin dont mess with high carbs or you will get fat. healthy fats its key but bad genetics wont help.
 
Can't tell you "why," but I did this hardcore some time ago. A guy called Berardi sold me on it. Fats in the morning, Carbs in the Evening w/Workout.

Reasoning is fairly obvious. It worked well. You always have to take into account brain-intensive tasks, preferring carbs and all.
 
One are the other. Bottom line. It’s how your body breaks them down. Fat and carbs together = No vascular look, unless your still 17
 
You've said a couple times that you feel better without mixing the two...if that works for you then why would it matter what someone else recommends? Do what you feel works for you.
