I suppose all this is well and good, but I would be curious how many here can answer these questions that is basic civics:

What are the 3 branches of government?
How many Supreme Court Justices are there? Name 2 of them.
Name the leader of the House. Name the leader of the Senate.

Did you vote in the last election?

Ignorance of the above is more troubling then knowing what to say, or not say, to a police officer. Just my 2 cents.....

Wow whats your point. Unless your a lobbyist good luck. Sounds like you talk to cops. Only reason to call a cop is to get a police report for a motor vehicle accident for insurance purposes. Fuk them for anything else take care of it myself. Domestics be careful here. Oh p.s I only use over the counter products now days for a long time so whatever. MM

It seems like the legal aspect is something that 99% of us need to be well aware of. What do you guys think about adding a Legal section or making a sticky for all relevant information pertaining to this very important issue? I really think that if it was done here it would be an excellent addition to an already informative site. This would make it easier for us all to go directly to the appropriate place to keep abreast on what the law is doing for, with and to something that we care much about. It keeps coming up and we all need to stay on top of it.

No matter how nervous you may get from the pigs, never ever say anything. You don't even have to tell them your name, they will push you to become a snitch and ask questions in sneaky ways to get you to admit something indirectly. If anyone here ever gets fucked, get a good lawyer. Even felonies are better than being a rat and always having to look over your shoulder. Its not worth it, if you do wrong man up and accept your charges when the time comes.

My point is that most people are ignorant of basic middle school civics....that said, how many fewer people are even aware of their basic rights!!
