The only reason cops want to talk to you about a specific subject is so that you can incriminate yourself or give them a lead that they don't have. If they have all the stuff they need, they don't bother talking to you until they have arrested you. The fault of most people charged with a crime is that they like to talk and it gets them in trouble.

He was giving that speech in my region where I live - because he mentioned all those new stories from my newspaper that I get. Kinda weirded me out.. but yea all cops do here literally is give out tickets - many people write about our state being that way ('outdated' police departments, don't handle 'ttrue crime' instead run radar)... truckers avoid us at all costs.
