How can you look at yourself in the mirror without feeling guilty?

Do you really think a $5 test amp missing in your next cycle will compromise your tiny biceps gains? Are you that absurd you can't see that $5 x thousands of people can however make a huge difference on a little girl's education and... survival?

It's the crisis for EVERYONE, absolutely everyone. But c'mon guys, $5 or $10 fucking dollars... ARE YOU THAT CHEAP AND SELFISH?

For once in your life... TRY TO FOCUS ON SOMEONE ELSE THAN YOURSELF.

No excuses, totally agree...anything will help for such a cause. Big Bapper was a great person, who gave his time to all of us...we can do so back by any sort of donation for his family. Totally agree Phidias!

Phidias, I do feel shameful indeed. The news of BB passing hit me three days ago, I did not donate money right away.
See it's all to easy for some to live a computer life where we have no real responsiblity and stand for things that we really would'nt do in real life...I thinks that's the problem in the first place

What made me donate (was actually before this thread was existed), was not BigBapper himself, but the thought of his child and wife.
Imagine that little girl, asking those questions "where my daddy at?", "mamma, why is not daddy coming home?".. it got me. I grew up much of my life fatherless, and a lot of you did to. Don't forget that you where in the same boat as that little girl.. I remember my mom, how lonely she must have felt without a man, imagine his wife now a widow..Are you just gonna stand here and watch as they suffer??

I truly believe that we are a board apart from the others..there are several muscle boards i do visit, this is the only place I post. There is a reason why several pros hang on this site and STAYS. We are a brotherhood..i really feel that the mods and members actually cares:

Did Seamus have a good size life insurance policy (or life insurance at all?). He was 32 with a wife and kid, so he should have had a least 500k or more depending on his annual income.

Seriously guys, if you have a wife/kids/mortgage (and a lot of us have all 3)--the thing you should feel most shameful about is not having life insurance to protect your loved ones if you die.

It's nice that we can donate a bit of money to his cause, but it's so darn cheap to have life insurance at age 32 (I think he was 32 or so?) there is hardly an excuse not to have it. $500k tax free money would surely pay the bills/college education/etc...

I can really understand that the new members and those who are unemployed, or really struggling financially are hesitant to give.. for the rest of us, we can easily work 1 hour overtime (instead of hanging on promuscle) and earn 20$, to a good cause..

Jay Cutler visited children hospitals at the age of 22, just trying to contribute,, and is still giving back..

ill be very honest...i havent donated...and not from lack of caring, or for any selfish reasons...ive been out of work since march of this year, previous to that i was out of work from nov-jan. money is beyond tight for us, but more than that..i dont have a credit card, or a viable bank account to use pay pal with...if big A could pm me with a way to donate with out needing a cc, or bank acct. i would donate what i can, with out any hesitation. im sorry if i seem bad, or selfish to those who have donated, but believe me when i say, it was not done out of malice, or lack of sympathy. getting life insurance in Ireland/UK/Canada/US is pretty simple in most cases--occupation will affect rates/insurability- not residence. I don't want to sound like a cruel bastard, but I'm taking this opportunity for folks on this board to prioritize the importance of things. I'd bet over half the folks on this board with a spouse and/or child have no insurance or only what's offered through work (bad idea).

Lets remember Bapper and celebrate his contributions to this board--along with being a stand up guy. Let us also take the time to reflect on our own loved ones/family so we can take the proper steps to protect them...
