I really enjoyed when he said he never saw the studies Kurt refers when comes to IM destroying part of the GH.
And is explanation for using sub Q prebed makes sense. Is that the most optimal? We dont know.
 
I really like the discussion of higher peds in the off season vs prep.

I dont compete in bodybuilding but I’ve ran many bulk and cut cycles this way. I’ve always felt you can fully take advantage of the gear when in a surplus and it takes a lot less gear to maintain.

Both methods can work, but there are so many other factors at play (nutrition, training, recovery, health).

Haven't listened to either yet, but this is what I always did.

I tend to agree with Justin on this one. You’ll be much healthier in a caloric deficit as you’ll have better insulin sensitivity, lower body fat and less inflammation.

You could argue in part this is why competitors can’t get away with tren and crazy orals in an offseason.

In my experience it’s much harder for competitors to manage their health in a progressive phase than it is a prep.

Please pardon my ignorance to the social media influencers but what the hell is this about GH getting destroyed by the muscle? Did some so called social media guru actually claim this to be a fact? That’s gotta be rage bait, huh?

Im hgh works the same as sub q. Done them both they both work but deep there’s no welts. Sub q shots just suck ass. There’s no advantage to it.

Yea I’d think most people would agree with Justin.

I think Dean had a lot of valid points that I rarely see discussed, especially if you are a seasoned lifter and aren’t doing huge swings in your bulks/cuts anymore. I don’t get above 12% bf in my bulks now days and after cycling for 16 years I sure as hell am not growing in a cut even with a 2 gram cycle.

You guys lifting and cycling for over a decade can still grow sub 8%?

Has anyone done DNA testing as mentioned in this? Sounds like an amazing tool to be able to predict results based on your genome. Find the best compounds, training, diet.

I've done the CAG repeat test offered by Marek and my result (27) lines up with my personal experience in terms of response to training and PEDs. From what I read you want to be below 20 to have a favorable androgen receptor sensitivity.

I think the argument that you don’t need a ton of gear to maintain muscle tissue is valid and true, but in a contest prep especially close to a show there’s just a certain look that only high doses of certain compounds can bring out, so I tend to agree with Justin. If I was doing a mini cut/cleanup diet in the middle of a long offseason I wouldn’t push much though.

All of Dean’s content is thoughtful and well articulated. Wasn’t he a member on here a long time ago? I try to absorb as much as he puts out.

The nerds have given the sport a ton of free, useful, well intentioned information. You don’t have to agree with everything they say, but I’ve absolutely gotten better from their content.
