In qualitative terms, it appears that bodybuilding drugs taken for competitive or aesthetic purposes reduce life years. But they can increase the quality of life because you have more strength, energy, sexual libido, etc ...

If you use therapeutic doses (that would be low doses and not those prescribed by some doctors of these anti-aging clinics) it could help you, but you will not feel all the positive effects of being superman

In the end it is a choice, you cannot have the cake and eat it.

Ironically, GH is anti-aging as it relates to longevity due to increased IGF levels (and one could argue due to insulin resistance as well)

I’m on it as well

usually people who are into anti aging do things to lower igf from what i have seen.
the thought being they want as little cell turnover as possible.
goal being activation of sirtuin genes.
also being insulin resistant is pretty counter anti ageing.
most generally want to be as sensitive as possible to the effects. within reason.

The problem is how we understand the word anti-aging, or rather, how those in the business sell it.

Making feel and looking young by taking drugs is not the same as reducing your metabolism, and therefore your vitality and energy, to extend your years of life.

If you have an old car and you make some improvements to it, better oil, nitrous oxide, it may run faster, but the car is still old and it won't last long before it collapses.

Now, if you have an old car and you want to extend its life, you will use it as little as possible, and when you use it, you will not squeeze it as if it were new car.
