I came across this site and found it interesting its a beverage that comes in packets and you drink all day long and you get all this nutrients. I'm training with Phil and drink his LBA's all day long like an IV drip sort speak....do you guys think I should try this supplement out yea or nay?

you'd think they could come up with a better name then Garbage after 50 years of research :confused:
 
I has caffeine in it, so you might want to limit it to when you're dieting and/or preworkout.

It looks like a good blend of ingredients though.

Just curious - what's your reasoning behind not having caffeine preworkout and / or dieting?
 
to be honest with ya the only thing in there that is any good is the carnosine, and taurine.... i dont thnk drinking this all day would be a wise idea... if it were me i would spend 1/4 the $ and buy some carnosine and taurine from bulknutrition and take them pre and post workout... this will be better for your wallet and your physique....

the creatine is good also but we all know that....

it is funnyhow they market these things, its like i could make a suplament and call it "smelly farts" put some creatine and caffien in it and tell you to drink it all day(to make you buy more)... i wonder how much i could sell?

it is nothing new, it is supps that have been around for years that they are putting (small amounts of ) in a green bottle and telling you it will make you huge... who knows it might increase "muscular hypertriphical stimulation" 2,784% !!!

I have tried it and it doesn't to anything at all to me. If you want a pump try NO3 OVERLOAD by CMI Nutrition. That stuff will give you a scary pump.

well beta alanine competes with taurine entering the cell, also beta alanine causues flushing, something that we really dont need pre workout...also beta alanine needs to be dosed multiple time to keep concentrations high, it also needs to have an enzyme present to synthasize it... i used to take beta alanine a lot! and it worked o.k., but compared to carnosine it is way under par...

carnosine has a large number of benifits, it is a potent anti oxidant! a lot of people think that carnosine get ruined in the stomach, but this i have found to be untrue... i usually take 2-4 grams pre workout and another 2 or so grams during or right after to help with recovery... it really is one of my favorite supps, it is expensive compared to beta alanine but well worth the cost! carnosine is one of the supps you can feel a difference the first time you take it, i experience vascularity, and a "pump" or fullness of the muslces befor i even get started training.... taking it befor a leg workout is my fav. it really decreases lactic acid build up and make me recover a lot faster!

the taurine is good stuff as well, i take it post workout and right befor bed, it really helps me to calm my nerves... there is plenty of info about it out there do a search and see what you find.... you probably didnt notice much becasue you werent taking enuf of it, i buy it by the kilo....

Taurine is a pretty good cell volumiser. I doubt there is a synergisic effect, when taken with creatine. So ypu probably wouldn't notice an effect, taking it with creatine.

Are u kidding me I would never drop my LBA's they are a staple in my diet. I just thought that stupid drink had something going for it but its sounds like garbage :p

I guess I will have to try it out I hate the flush feeling I get from beta alanine. Carnsoine I thought you always had to take I dosages to get the effect? I take melatonin to calm myself when I go to bed but I have some left over taurine I will try it how many grams should I try in one sitting?
 
To correct my above post I meant High dosages of carnosine to get the benefits from it.
 
shane.. i usually take 5 grams of taurine at a time sometimes more...


bigredpits......the carnosie should be dosed at 2-4 grams, thats waht i do, so i dont know if that is considered high or not but i definatly noticce a dramatic differance form it...

berserker... i think the tyramine is good stuff , i havent ever taken the glucoronolactone so i dont know about it, have you taken it? the only prob with all these new supps with shiney labels is that they probably dont have enuf of any of those supps in them to do anything.... it looks good on the label but in reality they probably hav every small amounts in there...

everyone will have different tollerance to different supps, so the best thing to do is buy the individual supps and experiment with the dosages, it saves money and you will actually be able to see what is working and what is not....

Agree with this 100% . Instead of just buying these products you see these companies selling look at the labels and see what is in them. Then try the different stuff and see how it affects you.
