Dropping leg training pre contest

How many weeks out do YOU drop your leg training?

I've seen guys dropping it 3 weeks out, or some even train a few days before...
 
Around 10 days out.

I have heard of this what is the theory behind dropping leg training? Is any other body part dropped too?
 
well.......my legs stay smooth up to a week after an intense leg workout

even when i'm at my most conditioned state.....so, 10 days is my magic number for dry conditioned legs

otherwise, my legs would appear to hold water and look smooth (no lines)
 
15 days out. Basically the day before the saturday 2 weeks out.
