Its also the dope-head mentality that proves to be the tragic flaw which leads to AAS busts, in addition to the simple possession of them. It leads to dishorable behavior, and taking chances and desperate risks that normal people wouldnt take.
In my case...I dont use rec drugs and have been outspoken against the use/abuse of them since I got clean in 1980; and openly here since I got on the boards in the mid-late 90s. But I got popped anyway. Reason? My partner in my AAS deals was a secret dopehead. Therfore, he had the mentality of a scumbag. Somehow he pulled the wool over my eyes, although we were supposedly best friends, but I didnt recognize he had a drug abuse problem. But your average dopehead is a backstabbing scumbag. Thus in the end...the rec drugs and abusers turn out to be the culprit again!
And in the end, when you are judged legally, you cant claim to have a 'clean' life of an athlete (most AAS users are high achievers in society) if you are on dope as well. Thus your lawyer can not make that claim in your defense. It will get you nailed, and in the end-be the downfall that puts you away.
