Last 4 years, Ive lost 2 motorcycles, my jetskis, (boat is broken). But its not all Obama, I'll admit. Mostly but not all. I blame Dave Ramsey for telling people with money to spend, Not to spend it and save :banghead::banghead:.... great for the small business owners who rely on customers spending 3-4k a project.

Also, it is interesting to note that the cities that have the top universities are usually more liberal. Higher ed seems to lead to more progressive and open thinking. There are many studies that have found this link as well - higher ed predicts more open beliefs.

Regarding politics, there are nut jobs, close minded assholes, and total fail in all branches. Its why we never have one side consistently winning elections and why shit never actually gets fixed. Politics are akin to picking whether you'd want to sandpaper the asshole of an alligator in a phone booth r visit your in-laws -select the lesser of two evils.

There hasn't been a president that was for the people in a long time, and if there ever is, they can't impart change because there are to many hurdles to jump.

I agree - politics are ridiculous; however, unfortunately they affect all of us for better or for worse.

I do find it absurd that some people make blanket statement though without and factual backing.
