Dutasteride causing increase Estrogen??

A good friend of mine has been on TRT (15mg a day IM Injection) only for the last 13 months he had his bi annual labs done and his estrogen is now 72 when it's never be out of the 30's even when he cycled up to 300mg a week. (He's 43 yr old , been using AAS for 16 years)
The only thing he has changed at all in the last year is adding in the dutasteride in 10 months ago. His last labs were drawn 7 months ago and his estrogen was 33 same as it was 6 month before.
NOW , he has reduced his training to just a couple time a week and has been very stressed being laid off during the COVID-19 shit and a seperation with his wife but I would not think that these stress would cause a double increase in Estrogen.

Anybody notice a change in your labs when starting to use dutasteride , or have any clue as to what could cause the increase in Estrogen.?? His Dr wants him to start taking Arimidex for it but he's wanting to find the cause and treat that rather than just add another drug to treat a symptom

The official brochure for finasteride from merck says " Mean circulating levels of testosterone and estradiol were increased by approximately 15% as compared to baseline" so I would imagine dutasteride could do this as well. see here

Did he start taking HCG or anything else he started or stopped taking? I cant count the times ive been asked or asked others this only to find I or someone else completely forgot. Sometimes it takes a minute for your memory to catch up.

^^^hey brother ..100% the DUTASTERIDE/FINASTERIDE (..the added "stress" is just gravy)

TEST is a "pro-hormone" of sorts for both DHT (..via 5-alpha-reductase) & estrogen (..via aromatase)
..when you block one, you inevitably get more of the other

..it's well known to happen
