DyODerm/Protan or Jan-tana/Protan

Wanted to know what is better for the stage?
Mix Dy-O-Derm with Protan

Or else Jan-tana competition tan with Protan to get that nice dark color?

I know from doing some searching here a lot seem to use Jan-tana Competition tan, but anyone use Dy-O-Derm?

I was just talkin to a friend of mine at this past show who used dy o derm and mixed it with protan. He had lost a TON of weight in a very short period of time and had a lot of stretch marks from what he said. It covered them up to where i couldnt see barely any of them at all.

Did he look dark enough under the lighting?
I was planning on alternating coats, 1 coat pro-tan, next coat DyOderm, etc. Until I am dark enough....

He said he mixed em and did 3 coats, and it was dark enough.

Pro Tan and Jan Tana

I like to use 2-3 coats of Protan and layer 2 coats of Jan Tana after that. I have found that if you can, it works best NOT to shower the morning after like the directions say. I have my last workout on Thursday morning and then shave down for the last time. Thursday night I start with Protan, one more Friday morning. After weigh-in Friday evening, I start with the Jan Tana then finish one last coat Saturday morning before the show. You may need to touch up a little between prejudging and the night show, but even not washing off the excess, you shouldn't have any runs if you apply the right amount of oil... TRAPS

I used

4-5 coats of pro-tan competition tan.. and then their bronzer over it just before going on stage.. they have a new bronzer that has hotstuff right in it if you like to use that.......

Protan has a new bronzer? Is that what you are saying?

yeah

that's exactly what I am saying.. they have a new .. "tan in a can" spray paint type competition color and then a new bronzer.. called.. Quick Bronze Hot.. has the hot stuff right in with the bronzer.. I have heard good things about it.. but, haven't had the chance to check it out myself.. you can see it on their website..
