I got a FB ad targeting me about a EAA supplement and I finally clicked on it over the weekend. I noticed the leucine content was 884mg & isoleucine 668mg. I asked why they would not put 2.5gms in their formula (their site actually talks about eaa's being superior to BCAA's however they left out the 2.5gm part) and I got the following reply
because it’s about the absorption and in order to maximize MPS you first have to maximize NNU. Having the Leucine at an unnatural unfounded ratio in relation to other amino acids can cause competition for absorption via the low selective amino transport system. We use a MAP ratio as researched by Luca Moretti... (1) Lucà-Moretti M, Grandi A, Lucà E, Mariani E, Vender G, Arrigotti E, Ferrario M, Rovelli E.

Am I right in thinking that it wont matter about the absorption as you wont trigger MPS unless you have 2.5gms leucine? I also have never heard of this term 'master amino pattern', it seems to be an amino product in its own right
Im half thinking they have just skimped on the dosage and now they are trying to bamboozle me with this reply
